Lynnette Joselly: How to Properly Moisturize and Hydrate Your Skin

How to Properly Moisturize and Hydrate Your Skin

One of the biggest mistakes you can do is avoid face creams. I use to think that since I have oily skin there is no need for a moisturizer, but boy was I wrong. Oily skin is actually a symptom of dehydrated skin. Now you already know that it's important for the human body to stay hydrated, but let me tell you a big beauty concern. It's important to have hydrated skin that way your skin doesn't get cracked or flaky.

Most skin types fall into one of three categories: dry, oily or combination. If you have dry skin you will need extra hydration, while oily skin needs to focus on oil-free products. Neutrogena came out with their Hydro Boost collection which includes a Gel-Cream for those with extra dry skin. I am a huge fan of the Hydro Boost Water Gel because it feels so cool and refreshing on my face.

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost moisturizers instantly quench the skin and keeps your face looking smooth, supple and hydrated. Please note, a quarter size amount will do the job. If you apply more than that, there is a chance you might clog your pores and cause breakouts as with any product. When applying the cream you want to move your hand in upward strokes that way you can help fight gravity and keep your skin looking young. Let's not forget the neck area since that's usually one of the first areas to show signs of aging.

Hope you guys benefit from this beauty tip by integrating these suggestions into your skin care routine. It can make a big difference in how you take care of your skin and don't worry, you can thank me later.
