Beautiful Henna Tattoo Designs in Miami

Beautiful, intricate and best of all… temporary. A henna tattoo started off as an art to adorn a woman's body as part of either a social or holiday celebration in the Middle Eastern culture. It is applied in regards to blessings and for luck as well as beauty. Now a days this body art has gained popularity in the US as temporary body art. The Henna Touch in Miami, FL is a talented henna artist that can create intricate designs on your skin - most often on your hands, arm and feet.

I was excited to meet with The Henna Touch because her art is just absolutely beautiful. Believe it or not, but for some reason the universe has been telling me to take a trip to India and experiencing her henna kind of just pushed me even more. Let's see if I actually become brave enough to take that 16 hour flight, but in the mean time I will be enjoying the culture in Miami. I met with the artist, she has over 12 years of experience and has such a great drive and energy. We met at the Five Sisters Spiritual Shop, but she can meet with you at a local coffee shop, the comfort of your own home and even hosts henna parties.

The henna process can take anywhere between ten minutes to two hours, it really all depends on how detailed you want your art design to be. After applied, let paste dry for 30 minutes, the longer the paste is on the darker the stain will be. The henna leaves an orange to dark maroon stain on the skin which fades away in 7 to 14 days. For longevity of henna color, I suggest using less soap in the body part where henna is applied.
