Lynnette Joselly: The Tan Suede Skirt Trend

The Tan Suede Skirt Trend

In collaboration with TOBI I am showcasing the tan suede skirt trend which made an appearance during the fall/spring season. However, that doesn't mean I'm going to stop wearing it during summer. Whether the suede skirt is done as a mini or midi, the fabric really isn't that heavy and can be worn during the warmer seasons as well. As for the color, I have seen it in all shades of brown and should be used as a neutral because it matches with everything from solids to prints.

For months now this style has been popping up on my feed from a few of my favorite bloggers. But it wasn't until I saw Ciara in a camel suede skirt for the VCCarnival in Miami was when I said I had to have it. This suede skirt is actually a trend from the 70s that has officially made its comeback. It's such a simple skirt but can still make a big statement.

I decided to do a casual chic outfit pairing the camel suede skirt from TOBI with a black and white striped blouse. Completing the outfit with some low white sneakers. I always like to mix in sneakers with a girly outfit because even though I want be comfortable I still want to look cute and fashionable. You will be seeing this skirt frequently because I already have a few more outfit ideas in mind.

  2. I love the outfit - but I'm afraid that ladies of a certain age (ahem) probably need a little more coverage. I'll pass this one on to my daughter!
