Lynnette Joselly: What to Wear to a Casual Holiday Party

What to Wear to a Casual Holiday Party

In partnership with Zappos I styled my new Paige jeans and Freebird boots for a cute and casual holiday outfit. So before I begin I would like to wish all my lovelies a Happy Holiday! Now... is your Christmas tree up? Stockings filled? Gifts wrapped? Well what about your outfit!? I am pretty sure most of you will be invited to many holiday parties by both friends and family. So make sure you have a few ideas ready for the occasion. If I am going to a home holiday party then I definitely want to be comfy and casual and of course stylish. For this outfit I paired mid-calf boots with form fitting destroyed denim jeans, a striped sweater tunic and a faux fur vest. Lastly, I was in the Christmas spirit so I topped my outfit with a cute reindeer antler headband.

I previously styled the Paige Destructed Jeans and Freebird mid-calf boots for a fall fashion outfit (click here to see). Since then, these jeans have become my new favorite pair because they are so comfortable and very form fitting for the female body. Which makes sense since the founder of Paige is the only female founder in the denim industry where she gets the chance to infuse her chic sensibility to every collection she designs. As for the Freebird boots, they are handcrafted from start to finish, paying extreme attention to detail.

Oh and do you guys watch The Real Daytime talk show? They spoke about the amazing customer service Zappos has to offer and I was so excited that other people are noticing too! They respond quickly, delivery is super fast and returning or exchanging an item is hassle-free. I'd love to hear about your shopping experience on Zappos and see your holiday makeup looks and outfits, leave a comment below.

  2. There are many good holiday party ideas available online. I read about some, like serving refreshing melon balls wrapped with cucumber and seaweed salad. Lollipop-styled desserts will make your event really special.
