Did you guys know that yogurt is good for your skin? It's a hydrating agent that not only helps exfoliate your skin but also moisturizes your body. Oh and I am not talking about the benefits of eating it, I am talking about actually washing your skin with yogurt. Aveeno has a new collection of Daily Moisturizing Body Yogurts & Washes which include the nourishing ingredients found in yogurt to revitalize dry skin.

Being that we officially started the fall season it's time to take action and prep your skin for the weather changes. The autumn dryness may cause your skin to become dry and dull so before it gets there I recommend you to treat your skin with natural ingredients which will also increase the glow of your skin. Being that foods can be just as powerful when applied to the body externally as they are when eaten, the new Aveeno collection also features natural ingredients other than yogurt, such as apricots, vanilla, honey and colloidal oat which all play a role in advancing your skin care routine.

I tried the trick the other day by cleansing and moisturizing my body with a yogurt based lotion and body wash by Aveeno. Not only did the products smell absolutely amazing but my skin instantly felt refreshed. Have you ever incorporated dairy products into your beauty routine? Maybe it was a milk bath or foot soak to control uncomfortable skin irritations such as eczema. Well instead of worrying about a DIY lotion that may or may not cause irritations, you can add a pre-mixed solution (Aveeno® Daily Moisturizing Body Yogurt & Aveeno® Daily Moisturizing Yogurt Body Wash) to help soothe dry skin.

  1. Interesting. I haven't heard of how yogurt can be good for the skin. I've tried the Aveno moisturiser before and it made me break out in a rash, for some reason. Never been allergic to a cream/ moisturiser before that.
