Some of you may have thought that Hair Cuttery was just a place to get hair cuts but let me just start off by saying they offer so much more from blow drying, styling, hair coloring and most importantly hair products. Which brings me to my next point; Hair Cuttery is catering to curly girls with their own hair care brand called Cibu. This professional haircare and styling line offers affordable luxury for every hair type but I am going to focus on a few that you might want to add to your curly hair regimen.

A few of my favorite products from Hair Cuttery's haircare line, Cibu, include sulfate-free shampoo, conditioners , oil treatments, smoothing and shaping creams. This may seem like a whole lot of product to pile on but all my curly haired people can agree it's necessary. It's always difficult to find out what products work best for your texture but their team of professional hair stylists are available to help recommend salon-quality products that cater to your hair needs.

They have 3 types of shampoo and conditioners, Color: for color treated hair; Smooth: reduces frizz and nourishes hair and Repair: not only reduces frizz but strengthens hair. Since I still do have some heat damage on my curls I decided to try out the Cibu Repair Shampoo and Conditioner which includes Biotin to strengthen hair and prevent breakage. As for the hair oils, there is the Shine Squad Gloss Drops and Shine Squad Argan Oil Treatment that is applied on damp hair before styling or over dry hair, they both will help restore shine and calm down that frizz.

Now that you have prepped your hair for styling it's time to define those curls and lock out humidity and the Spring Roll Curl Shaping Cream will get the job done. I got so many compliments on my curls and guys it was this curl cream that created those soft and touchable curls. But if you are actually going to blow dry your hair after cleansing then I would say to use the Frizzfix Straightening Balm as a heat protector because remember we have to take extra care of our curls.

  2. How cool! I got shampoo from them once and figured it was a huge mark-up but liked my hairdresser enough that I wanted to help her out. Turns out the same bottle was $3 more at CVS and $5 more at Target!
