Super Bowl XLV was the most watched event in U.S. history with 111 million tuning in to watch the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers fight for victory. The Green Bay Packers won their fourth Super Bowl title and 13th NFL championship with a score of 31-25. With that being said, we all know Lil Wayne’s Green Bay Packers anthem “Green and Yellow” will be blasting on the radio and in the club for the next couple of days.

The Super Bowl was the talk of the internet, especially when the Five-Time Grammy Award Winning Singer Christina Aguilera botched the national anthem. She hit all the right notes, but unfortunately she made an embarassing mistake by forgetting the line “O’er the ramparts we watched” and replacing it with “What so proudly we watched, at the twilight’s last reaming”. Well at least we know she sang it live!

Lastly, even though the halftime show had its technical issues it was an entertaining performance nonetheless. I believe it was the LED effects that distracted the audience from the sound problems. There were hundreds of dancers wearing suits covered in lights that created lighting effects all across the field. Usher and former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash made a surprise appearance and joined the Black Eyed Peas during the Halftime show. Fergie started off the show with “I Got a Feeling” and was then joined by Slash to perform Guns N’ Roses‘ “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” Next, both Usher and Will.I.Am performed “OMG”. Then finally, the Black Eyed Peas finished the show with “Where is the Love” and “The Time (Dirty Bit).”

  1. Christina Aguilera’s performance of the national anthem was one of the worst renditions of the song ever! What an absolute joke!

As for the game, congratulations to the Green Bay Packers! It was a great game. The Packers had an outstanding season, one in which they never trailed in a game by more than seven points.
