This past Tuesday, Italian fashion designer and dress-maker, Alberta Ferretti launched her first capsule collection for Impulse at Macy's. Miami Magazine teamed up with Macy's at Dadeland Mall in Miami for the launch party with drinks and music while stylist Rachael Russell talked about the debut of the lower-priced line. The collection is perfect for Spring and Summer season, consisting of flowing maxi dresses, Bohemian tops in turquoise, orange and pink, floral prints and lace. Those who made purchases of $40 or more received a free gift bag courtesy of Macy's.
"This collection is very feminine, very sensual, elegant; it's dedicated to the modern, contemporary woman," Ferretti said. Ferretti is known for her celebrity gowns which usually cost more than $2,000. This collection still includes her signature style with Grecian-like silhouettes and flattering draping with the price range $60-120. This Impulse line is much more affordable while still being chic and sophisticated for all the fans of the high-end designers.
