Denim Trend: Cropped Boyfriend Jeans

Baggy, distressed, high water jeans, sexy, huh? The fashion industry likes to call this denim trend - the boyfriend jean. Which is funny because when I asked my boyfriend if he likes my new jeans, he said "Why are they called that? Those are clearly not my jeans and I don't even like them." You see, he and many other men, prefer tight jeans that display the female silhouette. Which is usually what I opt for, however, it's sometimes comfortable to wear lose fitted clothing.


Besides the fact that I feel very Aliyah-ish in my baggy cropped boyfriend jeans, instead of wearing a pair of timbs, I added a feminine twist to the boyish fashion trend. I love mixing feminine and masculine pieces, which is why I wore a peplum top and a pair of minimalist heels to soften up my ripped boyfriend jeans.
