Malibu, California is known for its surfers, celebrity homes and its beautiful beaches. When planning my trip to California there were a few places I had on my to-do list that were all located in Malibu. Which ended up being my favorite part of the trip creating some of the best memories and capturing some amazing Instagram worthy moments. TRY MALIBU'S BEST WINES AT A SAFARI TOUR
To be honest the purpose of my trip (besides celebrating my birthday) was to visit Stanley the Giraffe at Malibu Wine Safaris. I have been following this vineyard in Malibu on Instagram for quite some time now and it has been on my bucket list since then. We took a ride on their open-air safari vehicles to explore Saddlerock Ranch while making stops along the way to taste local wines and snap some photos of the beautiful scenery. They offer different types of tours but it all depends on what kind of animals you wish to interact with, what food you prefer to eat and how much wine you want to drink. AMAZING VIEWS AND GOOD FOOD AT MALIBU PIER
If you're looking for a great healthy lunch with an amazing view then this is the place. Malibu Farm Cafe sits right at the end of Malibu pier overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Although I'm not a local, this just has to be the best location in Malibu. I mean what could be better than eating delicious food on a pier overlooking the ocean with a possible surprise appearance by the cutest sea lion. We ordered crab cakes, cauliflower pizza, the salmon burger and sangria to drink. Just a heads up there is a restaurant and a cafe, with two different menus. FOOD AND DRINKS AT ONE OF THE MOST INSTAGRAMMED RESTAURANTS IN THE WORLD
This Japanese restaurant and sushi bar actually started as a request from Robert De Niro to Chef Nobu. Upon walking in Nobu Malibu I was speechless. The location is just absolutely breathtaking! It's right off the coast in Malibu where you can enjoy front row seats to the ocean waves and a sunset dinner. I recommend trying to get a table outside preferably during daylight; trust me, it's worth the wait and the money. Malibu is absolutely beautiful! But I think I'd prefer to Malibu Farm Cafe for some healthy fine lunch while overlooking the Pacific! That would make my day you bet!
