There are so many different ways to create this voluminous curls hairstyle, whether it's hot rollers, curling iron or even the heat-less option with twirling and bobby pins. As you know I have naturally curly hair so for this look the hair stylist over at BSA in Miami did a rough blow dry on my hair, used a flat iron to create the curls and on my roots. The timing on this hairstyle really depends on the length and thickness of your hair.

Braided hairstyles have become really popular over the last few years and they are actually quite simple to do and will definitely make an impact. I went to the Beauty Schools of America salon to get a full halo braid, but after the student ironed my hair sleek straight, I didn't want to hide the hard work (since we all know my hair isn't so easy to manage) and opted for a braided headband with my own hair instead. You can either do a crown braid, side braid, I mean the options are endless.

The side braid is a cute style of braiding that is perfect for those semi-dirty hair days. It looks really nice with side-swept bangs and a somewhat messy look. My good side is my left side so I put the part on the right and then the hair on the left side. So if the part is on the left side, make sure the hair is on the right side.
