I know it's pretty easy to get stuck in your daily routine: work, eat, sleep and repeat. But I would like to remind my Miami locals that we do live where others vacation. So take a break and live like a tourist in your own city. You have probably driven through Coral Gables or stopped by for a drink but have you really taken the time to explore the beautiful neighborhood? I suggest you start off your staycation by checking into the Hotel Colonnade which is located in the heart of Coral Gables.

Whether you are a spirited traveler, adventure-seeker or work-hard-play harder kinda person (that's me) I believe you will all enjoy your stay at Hotel Colonnade. I was invited to check out the hotel's collection of guestrooms and suites alongside with other Miami lifestyle bloggers. I would definitely say the rooms are sexy, chic and of course stylish. My favorite decor touch was the vibrant colors that represent the Miami color palette. Oh and all the natural light that came in through the oversized windows came in handy for all these photos. From the Ponce De Leon Rooms or Miracle Mile Lofts, you will overlook the hotel's beautiful pool area or a charming perspective of the city below.

When it comes to Coral Gables, everyone normally just heads to Miracle Mile to wine and dine. Well then good thing Hotel Colonnade is right around the corner. I mean c'mon guys I told you this was a great location. The hotel does have a lobby bar, which is where the bloggers started their girls staycation, and they also have a cafe which is where we cured our hangovers the next morning. And if you want to explore outside their Kitchen & Bar it's walking distance to many 5 star rated restaurants.

After a fun night in the entertainment room (which includes a fancy schmancy pool table, large screen tvs perfect for movie nights, fun board games and more), the next morning a few of us started our day with poolside yoga on their rooftop patio. Then I decided to explore around the neighborhood on their super cute bicycles with the matching helmet, because safety does come first. With that being said, grab your bathing suits, but leave your passports, and turn a regular weekend in Miami into a memorable experience. I hope I have encouraged you all to take advantage of all that Miami has to offer.
