My Wellness Era: 5 Supplements I’m Adding to My Self-Care Routine

Apparently, my wellness era is here! Beyond skincare, haircare, and all things beauty, I’m also getting more intentional about what goes into my body. From healthy aging to everyday wellness, I’ve been exploring supplements that align with my self-care journey. Here are five I’ve been trying that you might want to learn more about, too!

Happy Aging Longevity Shots supplement for healthy aging and wellness

1. Happy Aging Longevity Shots
We’re taking care of our skin, but let’s not forget about the rest of the body! Happy Aging Longevity Shots are designed to support healthy aging, making them an option for anyone who wants to be more intentional about their wellness over time. Self-care can go beyond what we put on our faces and include the little things we do to care for ourselves from the inside out.

2. Rho Nutrition Liposomal NAD+
NAD+ has been popping up in so many wellness conversations lately. It’s a substance our bodies naturally produce that helps our cells function and plays a role in energy production. Rho Nutrition offers it in a liposomal formula for those exploring NAD+ supplementation as part of their wellness routine.

3. Black Girl Vitamins Calm Girl Ashwagandha
Between work, responsibilities, and everything else life likes to throw our way, stress can sneak up on us. Black Girl Vitamins Calm Girl Ashwagandha features ashwagandha, an herb commonly used in supplements focused on stress management. Some research suggests it may help with stress and feelings of anxiety, making it an ingredient worth learning about if you’re looking for ways to be more intentional about managing everyday stress.

4. Happy Aging NAD+ Women’s Longevity Formula — Advanced Blend
Ladies, our wellness needs deserve attention, too! Happy Aging’s NAD+ Women’s Longevity Formula Advanced Blend combines multiple ingredients in one supplement, with a focus on women’s wellness and healthy aging. It’s an option to explore if you prefer a multi-ingredient formula rather than taking several separate supplements.

5. Black Girl Vitamins Vitamin D3
Let’s give vitamin D its moment! Vitamin D supports bone health, muscle function, and immune health. Vitamin D deficiency can affect anyone, but research shows that low vitamin D levels are more common in some communities of color, including Black and Hispanic populations. Skin pigmentation can play a role because melanin reduces the skin’s production of vitamin D from sunlight. As a woman of color, I think it’s important to be aware of this and have more conversations about our wellness. Black Girl Vitamins Vitamin D3 is one option to explore if you’re looking to supplement your vitamin D intake.

A Little Reminder: My wellness era is about being more intentional about how I care for myself, inside and out. The skincare and beauty routines aren’t going anywhere, but I’m making room for wellness habits that support the bigger picture, too. Before adding a new supplement to your routine, check the ingredients and make sure it’s a good fit for your individual needs. When in doubt, a quick conversation with your doctor or pharmacist can help you figure out what’s right for you. We’re all about taking care of ourselves, but doing it thoughtfully!

  1. Just tried Geoguessr Free recently to see how well I could spot places and landmarks, and honestly it was a fun way to explore the world from home. It reminded me of the “wellness era” vibe in your post—like being more intentional, learning what helps, and trying new routines without overdoing it. I’m curious which supplements you’ve found most helpful.
