Lynnette Joselly: How To Fill In Your Eyebrows

How To Fill In Your Eyebrows

The shapes of your eyebrows can really shape your face and enhance your eyes, so it is very important to learn how to maintain them. There have been plenty of times that I went a bit too far with the tweezers and was left with half an eyebrow. Thank you to make-up I was able to fill it in and create a perfect eyebrow! Check out the steps below and learn how to fill in your eyebrows and avoid "angry" looking brows!
Step 1: Find a shade that is lighter than your hair to give it a more natural look. NEVER use a black pencil to shape in your eyebrows! Unless you are purposely going for the sharpies look!

Step 2: You want to begin with freshly plucked or waxed brows. If your budget permits I suggest you to get your brows professionally waxed or threaded every now and then.

Step 3: Add color to the thinner areas using light, feathery strokes with a sharp eyebrow pencil. Thicker eyebrows are always better so you want the inner part of your brow to be thicker, then taper to a thinner line as it goes toward your temple with the arch starting outside your pupil area.

Step 4: Clean up around the edges by using a small flat brush to apply creamy concealer under the brows. For a more dramatic look you can add a highlighter eyeshadow on your brow bone for more define brows.

Step 5: Use a clean mascara or eyebrow brush to groom your hair. Feel free to use a small amount of brow gel to keep your hairs in place.
